36 years old. Thirty-six memories of this past year. (even thought I technically was 35 when they happened.) Get settled in, it's a long post. The pictures are from our family birthday dinner.
T- he birthday I made my students a treat and walked into the school to find out a student BOUGHT me a birthday cake, AND my teaching partner made cookies for all 45 second grade students! I bet my students' parents learned what a sugar rush looks like on their kid THAT day!
H- ow about the time I took the girls to a marble factory and we learned how marbles are made. Great family field trip.
I- learned that I don't mind being in a swimming pool in front of others- especially when those "others" are my children, and the pool is in my own back yard!
R- eally? Wrinkles at 36 years old? Really?
T- he many, many family movie nights with popcorn. Ice Age, Despicable Me, Wreck it Ralph, and many more that we wanted Sophie to see in America.
Y-oung. This is how my grandma described me last Sunday. She said I'm "too little" to be 36 years old. In other words, I look young. :)
S-ix people in a horse carriage at Christmas time. Or make that 8- two extra people besides us were there.
I- can't believe it's been 7 months already since Sophie got off that plane from Germany!
X-tremely excited to see the Lion King production with Chad. That's what I felt when we went for our anniversary. There are no words for how awesome it was.
Year 35 was fun, but I'm hoping there are even more great things in store for me (us) this year.

You do look young. :) Our custodian commented on the wrinkles in my forehead the other day. That was awesome.
You do still look too little. And since I'm your twin, I do as well. Thank God! (:
